| Wake Tonka offers personal instruction for the beginner to advanced water sports enthusiast. A family run business since inception in 2005, Wake Tonka operates out of Minnetonka, Minnesota and serves the greater west metro of Minneapolis. We offer instruction for all types of water sports: water skiing, wakeboarding, wakeskating, wakesurfing, kneeboarding, and slalom skiing. Whether you want to learn a new sport or learn a new trick, Wake Tonka will help you hone the skills you need to cut glass or shred the wake. It is truly fun for all ages. While tubing on Minnesota lakes is often fun, Wake Tonka believes that this can result in unnecessary wave pollution, often detrimental to calm water, and therefore, Wake Tonka chooses not to participate in the educational activities involving tubing sports. We're striving to offer all the essentials for these sports: instruction, knowledge on where to shop, know-how for buying equipment, and the best places to cut wake and glass.
